On my return flight from LA last month I purchased the Steve Jobs biography. Every night and day since then I have been reading it and found it amazing!

Seriously, there are so many great insights in the book, I recommend everyone reads it!

Last night I stumbled across a great quote “You can’t just ask customers what they want and then try to give that to them. By the time you get it built, they’ll want something new.” What Jobs did at Apple was stay ahead of the consumer needs and wants. A real challenge in any business but this man was a visionary.

In the ultra-competitive world of 2012, you need to also become a visionary in this great game of business and life.

As you strive to be succesful – by what ever definition you choose – consider this Steve Jobs quote: “Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of otherpeople’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinionsdrown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”
